The studio has been steadily growing since 1996, and is now bigger and better than ever with the recent completion of the live room extension, vocal booth, and new control room.

LARGE LIVE ROOM

One of the Sickroom Studios many assets is the new live room – 30 feet long with movable acoustic walls, ideal for creating the perfect ambience for the instruments you want to record, and for playing live to capture the raw energy of your tracks.

Ready stocked with an array of guitar amps, pianos, electric organs, and musical oddities – we also have our own drum kit and bass rig should you wish to save valuable space in the car.

EXPERIENCED ENGINEER

Sickroom Studios are well established and have 18 years experience in the music industry.

Producer Owen Turner has racked up a whole host of credits to his name, including rave reviews in national music mags and regular airplay on Radio 1, Radio 2, XFM, and 6 Music – working with acts including Factory Floor, The Singing Adams, Magoo, Emily Barker, Mega Emotion, Chris TT, Rory McVicar, and many more.
